Join us this year for a very special occasion to celebrate here in the UK, the 40^th Anniversary of the Deering Banjo Company. Greg, Janet and Jamie Deering will be here with us and by popular demand, the event will also feature the world renowned Kruger Brothers.

This very special celebration day will be packed with fabulous music,  jam sessions, on-stage performances and demonstrations topped off with an evening concert from our good friends and world class musicians ‘The Kruger Brothers’.

Ireland’s JigJam Traditional Irish / Bluegrass fusion band featuring ace musicians Jamie McKeogh – Tenor Banjo, Guitar and Vocals,  Daithi Melia  5-String Banjo, Guitar, Vocals and Cathal Guinan on Double Bass and Fiddle will be here to perform for us in the afternoon and also support the Kruger Brothers in the evening concert

Our Eagle Music stall at the event will offer you the opportunity to browse what will be as always the largest selection of Deering Banjos ever to be displayed for public viewing in the world!

We are putting together the final arrangements for the event but here is what is confirmed so far…

• Special guests, Greg, Janet and Jamie Deering will hold an on stage discussion about their awesome ‘40 Years of Making Banjos’.

• This will be an opportunity for you to personally meet The Deering familyGreg Deering will be available throughout the day to personally check out and adjust your banjo.It will and also be a friendly where you can meet The Kruger Brothers, great icons in the banjo and American music world: Jens Kruger – Banjo, Uwe Kruger Guitar and Joel Landsberg – Bass.
• On-stage afternoon performances from the amazing JigJam
• On-stage afternoon performances from the exceptionally talented strings man Nick Mann on both the 5-string Calico Banjo and the recently introduced Deering Goodtime Banjo Ukulele
• Joe Mac of the ‘The Old Grey Dogs’ will be leading the picking sessions
• Eagle Music Trade Stand with lots of ’40^th Anniversary’ special offers
• North Light Cafe offering a wide range of food and refreshments throughout the day
• Eagle Music Raffle with great 40^th Anniversary Prizes
